My old newspaper employers, the ‘Garstang Courier’ and ‘Longridge News’, did me proud (and made me blush a little) the other week, with a full page article about my newspaper career (much of it with them) and in particular the popular illustrated talks I give about life behind the lens. Publicity is important for any business and mine is no exception. They have always been very supportive. Coming from a newspaper background, I could comment on the page layout however, but that would be a case of ‘biting the hand that feeds you, so I won’t!
