There’s nothing black & white about Spring… At last, a belated Spring is upon us and time (wedding photography work permitting) to get out and about with my camera…
This trip was by bike was up the Lancaster Canal (delightful at any time of year) to Capenwray.
Contrasting bridges… a few steps off the canal towpath Capenwray Viaduct towers over the tiny old packhorse bridge beneath. It’s a favourite spot of mine and makes for an interesting photo opportunity.
Nature is great to photograph, especially in springtime, when everything is fresh and new. My macro lens comes in handy to get some early shots of bluebells.
There was something nice about the light enhancing the texture and colour of this rotting fencepost that caught my eye. I’m always looking both near and far when I am out with my camera.
I hope you enjoyed my brief introduction to Spring.
Look out for more Photographer’s Ramblings coming soon!
