To celebrate kicking off my wedding fayre season, I took my ‘posh camera’ to Morecambe’s Trimpell Sports & Social Club‘s first wedding event. It was modest in terms of wedding fayres, but friendly and quite well attended considering the weather outside and other competing wedding fayres in the area. My stand was looking nice. Thank you to couples who stopped to take a look, not least Lisa and Karen who booked their big day with me! Hopefully more to follow.
The main event for especially brides, at most wedding fayres, is the bridal catwalk, organised by Champagne & Strawberries Bridal of Kirkby Lonsdale. Here’s a few of my snaps; models and onlookers, shot from various locations and using the arch of balloons to frame several shots of brides. For the photography savvy, I was alternating between a 28mm wide angle and my very versatile 18-300mm zoom lens. I set the ISO at 800 to give reasonable definition and fast enough to freeze most of the movement.
