With today’s slight easing of government restrictions, (very) small weddings can now take place (and not just under exceptional circumstances, as it was). The limit on numbers; couple and guests however is only six. Officials and photographer don’t count.
I am looking forward to my first wedding for some time this Wednesday. Sarah and Helen will tie the knot, at Lancaster Priory. From 12th April, the number is due to increase to 15. A reception in the form of a sit down meal (outdoors only) is also permitted from then. It’s all a long way from ‘normal’ weddings as we know it, but I’m pleased to report that I am getting a surge in new enquiries and bookings now for the second half of this year. So, things are looking up.
