One of the most enjoyable and best organised wedding fairs I’ve been involved with this year was the inspiration of a recent wedding customer of mine; Dawn Thorpe of ‘I Do Bridal‘. With hand-picked wedding service providers it was sure to be a success and have a great atmosphere.
‘Bride’s preparations’ with a difference…below left; talanted cartoon artist, Robin Grenville-Evans sketches one of the I Do Bridal models before the start of Sunday’s event.
One of the highlights at the event was the charity auction of a beautiful wedding dress donated by I Do Bridal and a range of great raffle prize, including a portrait photo shoot by me. Funds raised will go to a very worthy cause; Macmillan Nurses.
Another prizewinner is spotted in the room by, I Do Bridal owner, Dawn Thorpe and Morecambe MC (Michael Glenn) during the charity festivities at ‘The Boardwalk‘ on Sunday.
Entertainment was provided by the beautiful vocals of local jazz soloist Harri Deane (pictured below left), who brought an extra touch of class to the wedding fair.
Host and owner of The Boardwalk, Sylvia Borowska (above) is thanked with flowers, presented by Morecambe MC, at the end of the day.
